Brother Knight Bob Ward is exceptional in all he does. He is the Membership Director for our 3rd Degree Council and will also serve as the Advocate for our Officers and Directors Team during Fraternal Year 2025-26.
Bob is a valued Member and Volunteer for the "Helping People with Special Needs" Program. And is essential to the successful fund raising this program enjoys each year.
Bob is a very companionate person. He is one of our Brother Knights who is a member of our Parish Monthly Homebound Outreach Team. This outreach program is critically important to the mental wellbeing of the folks he visits.
Bob makes sure the Lord comes first. He is a member of a Bi-Weekly COR Bible Study Group and has the Tuesday, 1 to 3 a.m., Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration hours.
Brother Bob's talents are many and diverse. He is a member of the Parish Disaster Team, volunteers for the St. John's Annual Golf Tournament and holds the Greeter, Usher and Collections volunteer positions during our 8 a.m. Masses on Sunday morning.
Bob Ward is an exceptional Knight and person. He is always there to lend a helping hand. Bob is a Refreshment Center Bartender and works all our Knights Council Meetings, Spaghetti Dinners, Breakfasts and other social events. Bob is a person you can always count on. No task is too big or too small. Brother Knight Bob Ward serves with distinction and deserves the Award of Knight of the Month for April 2025.

Brother Knight Bob and Ann Bowman are model members of our Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish and Community.
Bob is an altar server and serves during many Funeral Masses. He is also an active Bi-Weekly member of one of our Parish COR Groups.
Bob is the current and 9-year running Treasurer of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Men's Club and co-chairs our Parish "Keep HSV Beautiful campaign. He is an active Men's Club volunteer in our Parish Thanksgiving and Christmas basket program. A program which greatly benefits many needy families in our community.
Brother Bob is the Pro-Life and Family Director within our Knights, Officers and Directors Team, and organizes the Novena for Life Activities, the Baby Bottle Campaign, and Promoting Life Functions. The Fraternal Year 2024-25 Baby Bottle Campaign raised over $8,400. Bob is also a committee member for the Hot Springs Village Pro-Life Organization and helps with their very successful fundraisers. And also represents Pro-Life on the Social Justice Commission at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
Brother Bob also heads up the Crosses for Life Displays in Hot Springs Village and helps other Christian Churches coordinate putting up their White Crosses each year.
Bob, when our Council is called upon to participate, always volunteers to lead a decade in the Patriotic Rosary. Additionally, he helps display the United States Flags around our Church Grounds during all patriotic events. And as a consummate Patriot, Bob is proud to say he holds the Patriotic, 4th Degree, of Knighthood.
And, to help his community, Bob volunteers two mornings a week helping build houses for Garland County Habitat for Humanity in Hot Springs. A charitable act Bob has done since November 2010.
Ann Bowman is an extremely active and effective member of our Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in her own right. As a member of the Ladies of Sacred Heart, Ann currently serves on the Funds Distribution Committee. She coordinates a monthly get-together for her All-Saints Guild and also participates in their fundraising Bake Sales and other charitable events. In addition, Ann helps with the Guild's commitment to visiting the sick and shut-ins on a continuing basis and is currently assisting with meals for parishioners in need who are experiencing temporary medical issues.
Ann is a Eucharistic Minister and a Lector. She is energetically involved with the Helping Hands Ministry and is a Sunshine Card volunteer. Ann is also the Sacred Heart of Jesus Coordinator for the Flower and Plant care program.
Ann has served on several Sacred Heart of Jesus Commissions and has been a Division Leader for our Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Program.
From a Hot Springs Village Community support perspective, over the years, Ann has served on numerous POA Committees.
Brother Knight Bob and Ann Bowman are both Perpetual Eucharistic Adores and have been since the inception of the program. And they are both 24 hours substitute adores. They each are exceptionally dedicated individuals and as a team are totally remarkable. Bob and Ann Bowman are absolutely deserving of the coveted award of Sacred Heart of Jesus Family of the Month for April 2025.

Brother Knight Chris and Donna Mullaney are always front and center and continually involved in all the quality projects our Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Knights of Columbus and Ladies of Sacred Heart (LOSH) organizations are involved in.
Donna serves as the Financial Reporter for LOSH, where she is responsible for reconciling the financial records and reporting her findings to the LOSH Board of Directors and members.
Donna is a member and Treasurer for Guild #4, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, where she develops the annual budget with the Guild Captain, reconciling all the financial records and reports these results to the Guild Members.
Donna helps out whenever and wherever possible with the LOSH Golf Tournament, their Card Parties and Bake Sales.
Chris and Donna support and help out in planning, organizing, and running events such as our Valentines Dinner, our Potlucks and our Parish Dinners.
Chris and Donna are both Sacred Heart of Jesus, Perpetual Eucharistic Adores. They get an enormous amount of personal satisfaction by being with, talking too, and finding out what our Lord feels is the best way for each of them to become the best person they can possibly be.
Chris is the Team Lead, buys the stock and runs our Sacred Heart of Jesus Refreshment Center and Bar here in our Lower Hall. I know none of us would want to do without these refreshments during our Council, Assembly, and all the other Parish Meetings and Events.
Chris is on the Kitchen Crew. And no doubt, Bob Kulas, will tell you Chris's talent and service is invaluable when it comes to all the Breakfasts, Spaghetti Diners and other charity fund raising meals our Knights provide.
Chris and Donna Mullaney are exceptional as a husband and wife team and extraordinary when acting on their own behalf. These superb individuals are well deserving of being honored as Family of the Month for March 2025.

Brother Knight Mike Kerwin has a long-standing record of outstanding achievements for Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. His current growth and bonding with others include being a Home Eucharistic Minister with his wife Ruth and a Perpetual Eucharistic Adorer. Mike is a Men's Club Member and a Bingo volunteer with his wife at the former Good Sam's and now Lake Forest Greenwood Manor. Mike is a member of our Knights of Columbus Exemplification Team, and a 4th Degree Sir Knight, Retreat participant for the Knights of Columbus, the Church Men's Retreat and the Subiaco Oblate Retreats. Always one who looks after his fellow parishioners, Mike is a Love Lunch, St. Francis volunteer, he volunteers on Brother Knight Gerald Krawczynski's Team who visit Brother Knights who are unable to attend meetings, an active Helping Hands Volunteer, a Church Collection Counter, and a Samaritan Ministry Dinner Volunteer.
If that is not enough to keep any person busy, in Mike's spare time, he is a member of the Subiaco Oblate Steering Committee, a COR Team Leader, and is actively planning a Jubilee Year Pilgrimage to the Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine in Oklahoma City.
Brother Knight Mike Kerwin is a real pace setter and a superb organizer and planner. He is always making sure the job or project is done right the first time, every time. Brother Mike Kerwin is truly deserving of the honor and distinction of Knight of the Month for March 2025.

Brother Knight Pietro and Jackie Tomassi are superb Parishioners. They were members of St. Mary's Parish after coming from Miami Florida in 2003. Pietro was introduced to the Kairos Prison Ministry and the Knights of Columbus, 3rd and 4th Degrees, by Deacon Joe Harrison, in 2005. In addition to St. Mary's, this ministry is now supported by Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and St. John's. And, Pietro, in conjunction with Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and Father Bill, help financially support the Kairos Prison Ministry. Pietro currently leads 2 annual Kairos Ministry Weekends and is a member of the Kairos Advisory Team. And Pietro and Jackie are both Social Justice Committee Members. As you can see, Pietro and Jackie are both very active in the Kairos Prison Ministry. In Addition, in 2007, while at St. Mary's, Pietro was one of the first volunteers to help start the Haiti Mission Ministry. A ministry which has done a lot of very needed work over the years.
In 2016, Pietro and Jackie transferred to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Parish and Pietro became a Knight in our Council. And Jackie became a member of our Ladies of Sacred Heart Guild #4 and Parish Council Member. Jackie took on the responsibility, and with the able assistance of Lucy Klier, prepares all the 4th Degree Knights Assembly Meeting Meals for Fraternal Year 2024-25. In addition to this undertaking, Jackie and Pietro regularly provide and serve the meals at the quarterly Knights of Columbus, Little Rock, St. Francis House Veterans Program and always volunteer for our Sacred Heart of Jesus food for needy families program during the Christmas Season. As well as all the charitable activities they participate in, Jackie and Pietro are both choir members, they are both Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Adores, and Pietro is a member of our Knights of Columbus Honor Guard. It goes without saying that Pietro and Jackie Tomassi are exceptional individuals in their own right and are unbeatable as a Team. No doubt, they are very well deserving of the award of Family of the Month for February 2025.

Council 10208 Supports The Caring Place with Donation
On February 4th, Gary Wolfer, representing Council 10208, recently presented a check for $3,096.00 to Ms. Nina Alter, Director of The Caring Place in Hot Springs. The Caring Place is a dedicated adult daycare and respite program that provides essential support and care for individuals and their families in the community.

On February 12, Bob Bowman delivered a $2,500 donation on behalf of Knights of Columbus Council 10208 to Jennifer Drake and Lindsey Moon at New Beginnings Pregnancy Resource Center in Benton. The funds will support the center's efforts in providing essential care and resources to expecting mothers and families.
