We had a busy night at the September 3, 2019 Knights of Columbus Knights of Columbus Daniel P. Sullivan Council 10208 of Hot Springs Village.

There were three computer stations set up for Knights wishing to complete a survey allowing the Council to know what areas of the Knights and the Church they would consider donating their time to. Rick Darnell has gone to great lengths to make this a simple process to keep a database of Knights to call on in the event there is a need for their area of interest. The Family of the Month was Ed and Paula Doyle, but the award presentation was postponed until next month as Mrs. Doyle was unable to be this meeting.

Ed Doyle was presented with a Special Award honoring him for the great job he did as the Grand Knight for 2018-2019 Fraternal Year.  God Bless you Ed for all you do.

Our featured speaker was the Executive Director of the Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center, Malleson Emmerling. She presented us with information on the upcoming annual fund raiser that will be held on Thursday night, October 17, 2019 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in West Little Rock. Tom Donnelly prepared and had printed a tri-fold flyer to help in recruitment of new members. It is also a great aid for all of us as it highlights all of what the Knights are about. There is a listing of all the Council Involvement including Prayer, Retreats, Culture of Life Initiatives, Catholic Education Support, Intellectual Disability Support, Community Social Services, Fellowship and Fundraising Activities, Monthly Membership Meetings, Youth Events and Fraternal Benefits.
