Essay Contest 2022

Congratulations to Jimena Pineda on winning the Knights Of Columbus annual Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest.  Jimena, an eighth-grade student at Jessieville school and a student in the confirmation class at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, wrote an essay on the topic: "Obstacles Overcome While Living A Life Of Faith".  Her essay was judged as the winner at the Council, District, and State levels within the Knights Of Columbus organization.  For her excellent achievement, she was awarded a $50 gift certificate by members of Council 10208 in Hot Springs Village, as well as a check for another $50 by the Knights of Columbus State organization.
