John W. Bolton (5/28/1925 – 6/7/2009) was Council 10208’s first grand knight.  The council was officially started on January 1, 1990.  A memorial mass at Sacred Heart was celebrated by Father Vic Bieberle on June 11, with internment following in the Sacred Heart Columbarium. 

Father Vic was assisted by Deacon Bernie Bauer, who along with Lee Borne, was also very intimately involved with the start of the council.  John was also a charter member of the Fourth Degree Knights, formed in Hot Springs Village on April 7, 1993.  Mass servers were Fourth Degree members Bill Burke, Mike Kerwin, and Ralph Stiefvater.  Grand Knight John Bodensteiner and Navigator Mike Kerwin presented John’s wife, Irene, with certificates of condolence from Council 10208 and Assembly 2316 respectively.
