Tom and Marge Thornton

Tom and Marge head the Newcomers' Welcoming Committee as part of the Parish Life Ministries.  As part of this activity, they visit all newcomers to our parish and provide useful information along with the primary function of making the newcomers feel welcome.

Besides being our Council's Financial Secretary, which is a very man-hour intensive position, he also orients candidates prior to the exemplifications and works on the Rice Depot Food for Seniors Program.

They are both part of that minority group of people who never say no to a request for help.
