worked in a manufacturing company that made aluminum and plastic disposable containers.
He was a manager for 36 of the 38 years he worked there.
His hobbies include bowling, taking cruises, traveling, reading, and working on his house and yard.
Dave joined the knights in 2007 and became a 3rd degree knight in 2008. He heads up the knights meals on wheels county route every Tuesday out of the McAuley Center. He works in the kitchen for the council and the assembly. He was in charge of the kitchen for the Mardi Gras and made the venison chili for the last membership meeting. He helps with the Intellectual Disability Drive and putting up flags around the church.
For the Church, he ushers at the 10:00 mass.
For his community he is very involved with the Breakfast Lions:
- Board of Directors
- Chair of the Chili Day for six years (Saturday, March 13)
- Chair of January Village Meals on Wheels in the Village for five years
- Chair of the eye glass collection for 6 years – delivered to Honduras, Mexico, Africa, and China
- Pride Day and White Cane day
Gail also works with both of Dave’s Meals on Wheels projects. She chairs the Lions Ladies
Auxiliary which helps with all of the functions.
