Father Elser has brought a breath of fresh air to our Council and to our Parish. He has strongly supported and participated in the Council's activities and charitable events.

When it was mentioned to him that Jackson House was having a tough time keeping up with increased demand for food for the needy, he pushed the Parish's food collection to the point that we have increased the amount donated by approximately three times what it had been.

He was working with us at the Special Olympics at Harding University, started a summer/winter bowling league and the new section he has added to our monthly meetings, "Chaplain's Reflections", brings an important religious education aspect to our gathering that we have lacked in the past.  By word and actions Father "Bill" has given us old retired guys a booster shot.
