September Knight of the Month Mike Frantz
September Knight of the Month Mike Frantz
The Knight of the Month for September 2016 is Mike Frantz.  Brother Mike, we appreciate the extraordinary contributions you make on behalf of our Council in support of the many activities of the parish and the community.  During September you organized several volunteers and arranged for and often personally made multiple pick-ups of donations for the Parish Treasure Sale.  That’s significant in and of itself, but let’s round-out your list of current and recent activities.  You are an active officer of this Council - our Lector;  you’re a member of the Council’s 1st Degree Exemplification Team, participate in CPID, assist with the parish breakfasts, an active member of the disaster relief team, you’re the Blind Camp Coordinator, active in the Food Basket Program, Food-for-Seniors, a coordinator and volunteer for the Crosses for Life effort, participate with Helping Hands, you’re workingon giving away your 5th gallon of blood for the bi-monthly blood drives, you work on cheese and sausage sales, the baby bottle campaign, you help with the youth free-throw contests, and you’re active in perpetual adoration.

You are definitely our “Knight of the Month.”  You constantly set an example for other Knights to emulate.  We truly appreciate and thank you for you exemplary Service to One, and Service to All—in charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

Ken Silvers Knight of Month
Ken Silvers Knight of Month
Brother Ken Silver has been named August Knight of the Month.  Besides preparing our Council meals, he is the kitchen leader for parish breakfasts, the deep-fryer cook for fish fries, and heads up the 4th of July soiree.  Ken has  helped with the free throw contest for the youth program, worked the Fountain Lake Field Day, Ham Sales, and  helped with Pennies from Heaven.  He is a big help with Junior Golf, Seminarian Dinner ticket sales, Fr. Vic’s dinner, the summer food baskets, the cafeteria lunches at Fountain Lake Elementary School, and helped set up of the crosses for life.  I understand with all his spare time he is not a bad softball teammate and enjoy pickle ball.   And let’s not forget the lovely “Ashley” in our murder mystery dinner theater.  You are well deserving of this certificate that conveys our gratitude and appreciation for your charitable and fraternal efforts.

Brother Ed Voss
Brother Ed Voss

For over a year he worked on this project, bringing it to fruition last month. Simply put, it was a work of art honoring a fabulous priest, soldier, Sir Knight, Brother, and a State and Council Chaplain.

Our Council, The Assembly, and the Bieberle family appreciate your diligence and express our deep felt gratitude. You are truly a “Knight of the Month.” Thank you, Brother Ed Voss.
