The Knight of the Month is Larry Linteau. He assisted with the Lasagna Seminarian Dinner by playing music during the dinner,and he even sang a song.  He is a substitute organist for St. Mary’s in Arkadelphia, playing 10 - 15 services a year as needed. He is also a lector and altar server at St John the Baptist in Malvern during weekday masses. Larry is one of four knights who helped form the Knights of Columbus Round Table in Malvern.

Larry (l) graciously accepted the position of Council Treasurer when Ray Peters had to resign because of health. He is also very involved with Sacred Heart Church as an extraordinary minister and a member of the Church Finance Council with responsibility for financial statements. In addition he has been a hamster the past two years and as part of the Friday morning prayer group, he assists with providing meals to the homeless. Help me congratulate Larry on this honor.

This award is being given to Dave Johnston for all of his time and energy that he gave to this council while fulfilling his duties as Grand Knight.  In addition to the regular duties, he has volunteered for many other events such as Bingo Night and is a member of the Disaster Response Team.  He also serves as a parish lector. 

Dave is President of the Garland County United Way Board of Directors. He also serves on the Criminal Justice Committee, advising Garland County Judge Rick Davis on the new county detention center.
