Jim Passe has been selected as Knight of the Month for May, 2012 for his efforts in compiling the information and completing the report of all program activities during the current fraternal year that was instrumental in allowing this Council to be named as Arkansas’ Large Council of the Year for the second year in a row.

Jim’s dexterity with a chain saw is also being recognized with his voluntary efforts with the disaster clean up team this spring.

This recognition is also intended to thank him for a job well done as Program Director for the Council this past year.

Scott Krantz has been named Knight of the Month for April for his exceptional volunteer efforts on behalf of this Council and Parish.

Scott currently serves this Council as Outside Guard and also serves as the Sgt. Of Arms for the Catholic Men’s Club. Scott also shares the duties of breakfast chairman with Chuck Ralph.

Scott helped prepare the food with Dan and Kathy Murphy for the Mardi Gras Party and co-chairs with Dan on the upcoming State K of C Golf Tournament at DeGray Lake on June 16.

Scott was instrumental in the redisign work on our new name badges.

Scott serves the Parish as an usher and participates in the church bowling league. Scott attended the recent Monserrat Retreat in Dallas and helped sell hams last fall. Scott also has helped in most of this Council’s fundraising efforts and dinners this past year.

Thanks, Scott, for setting an excellent example for all of us to follow.

Dave Witchger has been named Knight of the Month for March for his leadership as Council Director and specifically for his leadership on this year’s Mardi Gras Party.  He is also being recognized for his guidance on the recent mulching project on the Church grounds.  Dave is further being recognized for his continued leadership and involvement with Habitat for Humanity.
